The West Coast version of MAC in New York, CabWest unites and informs the exploding cabaret scene in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and everywhere else West Coast. I'm a founding member of the group (I brought the cookies!). If you sing or if you just want to find where the singers hang out and perform, visit this site. |
|
TAXI - the leading independent A&R company helping unsigned bands, artists and songwriters get record deals, publishing deals and placement in films and TV shows. These guys are for real and have connected many music writers to people within the Entertainment Industry who can help them. |

|
TALKIN' BROADWAY - ...and Talkin' and Talkin'! This New York-based site has all the dirt on all the shows happening and almost happening on "The Great White Way". "Your home on the Internet for theatre news, talk and information". And singer Jonathan Frank has an interview page with cabaret recording artists! |
|
|
BACKSTAGE ONLINE - "Backstage" "Backstage West" and "Drama-logue" magazines have combined and this site is their online manifestation. Each week there are new feature articles, performance schedules, casting listings, and reviews. Very well done ... but we need to encourage them to review more cabaret! |
|
|
CITY CABARET - "The online magazine for music lovers". Elizabeth Ahlfors has created this beautiful magazine-style site to celebrate and promote Cabaret entertainment, with articles, profiles, performance schedules and links to Cabaret artist's personal web pages. I'd like to meet this lady! |

SHOWMAG.COM - Rob Stevens love-fest with theater and cabaret continues with this online mag featuring reviews, articles and previews of the annual "Robbie" awards! |
|
CULTURE VULTURE - Their masthead says: "A somewhat haphazard and pronouncedly idiosyncratic sharing of matters cultural." Indeed! A thoroughly entertaining site, which includes reviews of Ducy Lee CDs. |
| THE AMERICAN MUSICAL THEATER REFERENCE LIBRARY - This is an amazing site - an easy-to-use internet directory which can give you the contact information you need to find everything from a stage manager to an accompanist, a choreographer to a lighting designer. Songwriter JEFF SCOTT has put together a FREE service site that more than lives up to its name! |
People:
| LML MUSIC - Singer Lee Lessack's recording company featuring the brightest new stars of cabaret. Lee (himself a wonderful singer) and I swapped ideas about recording companies some time ago and LML and DUCY LEE is the result. Any company with recordings by STACY SULLIVAN and ANNE KERRY FORD is all right with me. And now they feature DUCY LEE RECORDINGS CDs as well! I feel like I've come home. | |
| MARY JO MUNDY - Mary Jo is one
of my favorite singers. She may be short in stature (4'11")
but she is long on talent. Her voice is one of the wonders of
the world, and she matches it with intelligence, wit and a huge heart. Do yourself a favor and listen
to Mary Jo sing! |
|
| LORI DONATO - Lori may be the most
modern woman I know. Her CD "The Road
Ain't No Place For A Lady" is getting radio play already
and is well worth a listen. She's a class act. Funny, sweet
and versatile Lori accompanies herself in venues in Los Angeles and in
Europe, but this gal loves singing
with a band, and does it superbly. Check her out. |

|
TOM GROUNDS -
Tom is an actor and singer who is passionate about theater
and cabaret! He's starting TAGLINE
MUSIC (www.taglinemusic.com) to promote,
produce and record the music he loves, beginning with his own
autobiographical album "Something That
I Wanted You To Know" which includes two of my songs! |
|
| BRIAN LANE GREEN - An Angel's Face, an Angel's Voice ... and a little Devil inside! I love Brian. He's the original Broadway star of "Big River." He has a spectacular voice! I always love working with him. Go check him out. | |
| LES MICHAELS - A self-professed "ex-chorus
boy", Les loves singers and loves to sing! He runs one of
the best open-mic series in Los Angeles, spotlighting many up-and-comers
as well as the more famous of our bretheren. At both "The Vermont" on Mondays and at the "10-20" in the Bel Age Hotel on Thursday, Les provides
a comfortable and nuturing environment for singing and enjoying cabaret. |

THE SAVANA TRIO
- This is one hip act! DEBRA RAE
(in the center) originated the part of Theda
Bara in my Hollywood show and then moved on to join
JACKIE & BONNIE in this gorgeous-harmonied
country trio. They are proud to say no one "stars" in this
act - it's a Sisterhood. It's also in-your-face fabulous! |
|
ANGELA LaGRECA - is a comedienne who's performance combines stand-up, musical comedy and impressions. She the winner of the 2000 Mac Award for Outstanding Female Comedy and she's a regular on TV's "The View". Not only is she funny, she has the good taste to perform my song "And A Pizza To Go" in her act! |
|
|
RICHARD HALPERN - My friend Richard might well have been born in an earlier age. He sings the songs of the 20's and 30's better than anyone I know, and his "Al Jolson" Shows are outstanding. Not too long ago, his resemblance to a popular movie character gave him a second career! Check out a delightful man and a wonderful entertainer. |
|
| RON ABEL - A renaissance man. Ron is a renowned Musical Director, working with some of the top stars in the world ... but I think of him as a world-class songwriter. Good things are happening for Ron [and his frequent writing partner Chuck Stefan] Check out his website and find out for yourself what I'm talking about! |
|
DIANNE LEGRO - Dianne Legro is a leadership trainer and master teaching
artist at arts centers, colleges and universities, high schools and
primary schools, and service organizations. She is an author, lecturer,
and professional motivational presenter nationwide and in Europe.
And she's a wonderful soprano as well! If you need life
coaching, vocal coaching or a fine concert artist, Dianne is the one
for you. |
SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP!:
|
FOOTLIGHT RECORDS - My favorite store in New York City! They carry everything! One of the first supporters of Ducy Lee. When you're in New York visit them at 13 East 12th Street, downtown. |
| DRESS CIRCLE - You have further to travel to visit these wonderful people! They call themselves "the greatest Showbiz shop in the world" ... and they just may be. (They carry my CDs, after all!) English to the max! Check 'em out. | |
|
|
MUSICAL-SHOP.DE - Germany's No. 1 online store for musicals with an international clientele. You don't need to speak German to easily find your way around this site (but click on the "globe" icon if you're not sure!). I'm proud to have Ducy Lee CDs featured on their site. |
| VIRTUAL VOICES - Mike Mendyke and company handle the credit card sales off of websites for rock bands, vocal groups, children's CDs ... and, when I was on my own, Ducy Lee Recordings! The CDs they offer are unique, varied and fascinating. And I can't speak highly enough of Mike! Check 'em out! | |
|

vacation group for which I regularly perform. If you're gay,

are links to the websites of some of the extraordinary talents
with whom I've I'd the pleasure to work on ATLANTIS trips. These are
the creme de la creme, folks! |
|
|
|
JIM DAVID - One
of the best stand-up comedians in the world. He knocks
me out. He just happens to be gay and he uses it, but
his comedy is universal and warped ... definitely warped. |
MISS RICHFIELD
1981 - her name and her title - is one of the best
and funniest performers I've ever worked with. Check out her
website - where butter is a spice and gravy is a beverage - and
nothing will ever be quite the same! |
|
|
|
|
|
|
EDIE - Simply "Edie". She's won every cabaret award in New York City. She's an incredible dancer, a wonderful comedian and a snappy dresser! Slightly 60's but oh-so-contemporary, Edie dresses up every stage she's on and every party she attends. Become a fan: check her out. |
