The Photo Shoot
| In the midst of last minute rehearsals just prior to the opening of our show "BILLY BARNES REVUED", director DAVID GALLIGAN allowed me to bring in photographer RICK FRIESEN (who designs all of DUCY LEE's CD booklets) to shoot the cover for the original cast CD we were going to record. We played with the boas and props, tried on all the wigs, and had WAY too much fun! |

This is a working cast of people who actually like each other! We had all done a production of "AMERICAN TWISTORY" together directed by David Galligan which Billy had seen. He called David (seated at right) to find out if we'd be interested in doing a production featuring his songs. Would we ever! Producer RONN GOSWICK (with blue boa!) said "Yes" and we were off! |

Mr. BILLY BARNES has written specialty material for "The Carol Burnett Show", "Sonny & Cher", "Cher", "The Danny Kaye Show", "The Acadamy Awards" and dozens of others including "Laugh-In" on which program he was a performer! (He also has a recurring role on "Mad About You".) Starting in the late 1950's his series of "Billy Barnes' ..." revues set the standards for all revues to follow and introduced many future stars including JoAnne Worley, Ken Berry, Joyce Jameson, Tom Hatten, Jackie Joseph and Bert Convy. |

| Almost every picture Rick shot was a good one! Some were used to promote the show; the picture with David Galligan and Ronn Goswick was an opening night present to the cast...and this was the shot we chose for the cover of the CD "BILLY BARNES REVUED" (Original Cast Album). |
